Sponsoring

Sponsorship issues within the Sandvik Group are handled at local level. They shall primarily consist of contributions to registered cultural and recreational organizations active in communities located close to the Group's various operating units.

Sponsorship of local organizations is intended primarily to stimulate and support the different recreational activities available to the employees and families of the Sandvik companies.

Sandvik does not become involved in global or national sponsorship operations. Contributions are not made to individuals. Nor is support provided to political or religious activities or activities within or related to municipal or other public authorities.

Sandvik prioritizes support to organizations with widespread activities for children and young people. At corporate level, sponsorship issues are handled by Sandvik Group Communications.
